New Students
 

If you are unable to register online please contact your child’s campus. You may use the School Finder  to locate the appropriate campus.

 

  1. Create an Account

    For families registering students new to AISD, an AISD Portal account must be created before you can access the online registration system. To create an AISD Portal account, visit portal.ssc698.com.

  2. Gather Documents

    Families registering students new to AISD will need to provide the following documentation at the child’s campus, or upload the documents in online registration:
    • Child’s birth certificate
    • Child’s social security card (optional)
    • Child’s immunization records
    • Child’s withdrawal form/last report card (if applicable)
    • Parent/Guardian photo ID
    • Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
    • Proof of residency
    Get information regarding the enrollment of students in foster care or under the guardianship of DFPS.

  4. Register Online

    Once your account is created you can register online: Note: Only Family/Guardian contacts are able to use the online registration system. If you have any questions or need assistance with AISD Portal or online registration, please contact your student’s campus or call Family Support at . Documents such proof of new address and birth certificates can be attached online during this process or sent to the campus.

  5. Magnet Programs and Transfers

    Families have the option to tailor their child’s educational experience in AISD. Review and apply for AISD magnet programs or transfers by visiting our magnet and transfer pages. Families wanting to choose another program or school than their child is assigned can apply in the AISD Portal.

 

Returning Students

 

  1. Log In to Your Account

    Families registering students returning to AISD should log in to their AISD Portal account. The online registration system is available only through the AISD Portal at portal.ssc698.com. Families who haven't previously created an account may do so at portal.ssc698.com.

  2. AISD Programs and Options

    Families have the option to tailor their child’s educational experience in AISD. Review and apply for AISD magnet programs or transfers by visiting our magnet and transfer pages. Families wanting to choose another program or school than their child is assigned can apply in the AISD Portal.

  4. Register Online

    Students who have previously attended an AISD school must be registered as a returning student. The returning student online registration process consists of the same process for new student registration. However, the returning student registration forms will have pre-populated information from the student’s current record. Some data (appears grayed out) will be view-only. You will have to contact the child’s campus to make changes to these fields.

  5. Gather Documents

    All returning students who have had a recent change of address must submit proof of residency to their campus for the 2021-22 school year. Please note that additional documentation may be requested by campus to complete enrollment.
